Data center automation software provider BladeLogic announced that automotive information provider Edmunds has selected BladeLogic's suite of data center automation software solutions to automate the provisioning and management of all servers in its new data center.

Before selecting BladeLogic, Edmunds used various server management software tools that were not well integrated and required highly specialized skills and extensive scripting. Edmunds is currently undergoing a major data center relocation project that will be completed later this year, and as a result, has launched a competitive evaluation of the leading data center automation solutions to help expedite the relocation process.
