Features Single-Sign-On technology, enabling service providers to administer their Sitebuilder service plans using a single login and password.
SWsoft, a server virtualization and automation software provider, today announced the release of Sitebuilder 4.0 which also includes Single-Sign-On technology, enabling service providers to administer their Sitebuilder service plans using a single login and password.
The release now has 12 dynamic modules, including a new File Download module that enables site owners to easily add files to their websites, such as PDF files, documents and spreadsheets. Also, the Area Map Module was enhanced with Google Maps technology, which lets users embed interactive Google Maps in their sites and get driving directions to and from a specific address.
Sitebuilder 4.0 features for service providers include Promotional Footers to add a company name or other promotional material on each customer's published website. SSO Support to gain full access to all Sitebuilder capabilities with unified credentials through the SWsoft Plesk administration console. Backup/Restore to back up and restore individual sites or an entire Sitebuilder server. Custom Design Template Support to create custom templates tailored for specific markets with the ability to create one template that can be deployed across both Linux/Unix and Windows platforms.
Sitebuilder 4.0 features for end users include a File Download Module to provide downloadable content on a website. Google Maps to add area maps and get directions. Multiple Image Uploader for Image Gallery to upload multiple images to user sites at once in the Image Gallery module. One-Click Publishing to publish a website with one click after building it using new interactive text in the five-step design wizard.
"We worked closely with SWsoft to develop the Promotional Footers feature in this release of Sitebuilder. With this feature, we can add our own custom tagline to each customer's website, increasing our overall market exposure. We can also offer our customers optional service plans based on how much of our promotional material they are willing to allow on their sites", said Joakim Frid, CEO of Crystone.
"Sitebuilder 4.0 adds new features that make it easy for hosting providers to customize service plans and easy-to-use options to attract and retain customers. Sitebuilder's improved integration with SWsoft Plesk and use of SSO technology is a direct result of our Open Fusion initiative to deliver flexible, open solutions that create business opportunities for the entire hosting ecosystem of providers, end-users and software vendors", said Serguei Beloussov, CEO of SWsoft.
